Cub Scout Pack 340, first chartered in 1969, serves Guadalupe Elementary School in the Union School District of San Jose, CA and the surrounding area. We are part of the Pioneer District under the Santa Clara County Council, and our charter organization is the Guadalupe Home & School Club.
Summer Camp registration is currently ongoing and just around the corner! Between Day, Twilight, Cub Residence, and Webelos Residence Camps, there is something for everyone!!

Tuesday, June 9, 6:30 - 8 pm, Bicycle Rodeo @ Guadalupe: In full uniform. Bring your bike and kick off the Summer with our annual Bicycle Rodeo. The coasting race, the how slow can you go, the newspaper route, and of course, all the fun obstacles will all be there along with a nice tasty frozen treat afterwards!
Wednesday, June 10, 8:25am, Olympic Day @ Guadalupe: All Scouts are encouraged to take part in the flag raising ceremony. Scouts should come to school in full uniform with their school shirt underneath. After the ceremony, the uniform can be stashed in his back pack. Please meet at the flag pole at 8:25 and the flag raising ceremony will be at 8:30, followed by the Pledge of Allegiance.
Saturday, July 4, 10:30am, 4th of July Parade, starting @ Montevideo Club House: Our Pack has the honor of carrying the American Flag in the parade, which will start around 11am and end around noon, and we will start gathering at 10:30. Please wear your uniform and if you bring your scooter, be sure to decorate it!
We are also looking for some parents to fill some Committee positions and Chairs for our big events. This is a great way to add your voice in the direction of our fine Pack and to help our kids get the most out of Scouting!
Currently we need a Secretary to record and publish the monthly Committee meeting minutes and an Activities Chair to organize our events/outings. We would also like to add an Assistant Cubmaster and a Historian to our ranks, so if you would like to assist our fabulous Cubmaster or take and organize photographs of our fun Pack Meetings and outings, or help in any area that interests you, please email our Committee Chair!
